- Eid al Fitr holiday: Eid al Fitr, following Ramadan, brings together families and friends for early morning prayers, new clothing, sweets, and acts of charity. Eid Al Fitr 2024 is expected on April 9, subject to the moon sighting. The last working day for the private sector and non-profit employees will be Monday 8 April, followed by a four-day Eid holiday, 9-14 April.
- Direct international flights to Red Sea: Beginning on 18 April 2024, flydubai will offer direct flights from Dubai to Saudi Arabia’s Red Sea International Airport (RSI). This direct route will be the first connecting The Red Sea to a destination outside the Kingdom and operates on Thursdays and Sundays.
