- Dakar Rally: The 2024 Dakar Rally is happening now! From 5-19 January, the famous race is passing through the Arabian desert, starting in AlUla and ending in Yanbu along the Red Sea. Covering the equivalent of 5,000 km in distance, 60% of its race will cover new areas not yet discovered by the drivers throughout the years. Plan ahead now for the 2025 Dakar Rally and experience this race in person in Saudi Arabia!
- Ramadan: The holy month of Ramadan is expected to begin from March 10th to April 9th. It is the time of the year when Muslims around the world focus on prayer, refrain from food, drink, and certain other activities during daylight hours, and give to charity. - More awards for Saudia Airline: Saudia, the national flag carrier of Saudi Arabia, ranked 9th among global airlines in 2023 for On-Time Performance. Saudia covers all 28 domestic airports in Saudi Arabia as well as more than 100 international routes across four continents. The airline is expected to continue expanding its fleet and flight option in 2024.
- Balad Beast: On 18-19 January, a two-day music festival will, for the first time ever, light up the historic district of Jeddah. The event features a mix of international artists performing across four different stages. Headlining acts include DJ Snake, Cairokee, Bebe Rexha and Major Lazer.
