- Umrah Visas: Saudi Arabia no longer requires Umrah travellers to have a special visa. Now all travellers, regardless of visa type, are eligible to perform Umrah. Permits are still required to visit the two holy mosques in order to perform Umrah. The permit can be obtained through the Nusak application.
- Saudi’s First Grand Opera: The grand Arabic opera ‘Zarqa Al Yamama’ debuted on 25 April and is running through early May. Shows feature a mix of international and local talent and are being performed at the newly renovated King Fahad Cultural Centre.
