Rarely do travelers get the opportunity to experience “real life”, as the locals live it. But this immersive two-day adventure allows guests to go completely off the tourist track and live in the working class neighborhoods of Vietnam’s bustling capital, Hanoi.

Meet Mr Tien and his wife, Kim Ahn, in their home, which is set among a maze of narrow alleyways. Visit a local trade and handicrafts market with Mr. Tien, before going shopping with Kim Ahn and using the fresh local ingredients to prepare dinner.

Spend the night in the couple’s home, before waking to a traditional Vietnamese street breakfast. The tour concludes with a trip to the local temple to experience the spiritual side of Vietnamese life.
