- InterContinental Saigon & Residences rebranded as JW Marriott Hotel & Suites – IHG ended its management of InterContinental Saigon, resulting in the hotel’s closure, effective 10 September 2024. Following the reflag, IHG’s presence in Saigon will be limited to a Holiday Inn near the airport, while an Indigo hotel is slated to open later this year. Marriott, is expanding in Vietnam with properties Sheraton Grand Danang & HCMC, Le Meridien HCMC, the Renaissance HCMC, and the Autograph Collection Vinpearl Landmark 81 also in the Southern Metropolis.
- The Vietage by Anantara closed for annual maintenance – From 16 January to 14 February 2025 the carriage will be off the rails for maintenance. Operations will resume on 15 February for all railway journeys Danang-Quy Nhon-Nha Trang and vice-versa.
- Anantara Hoi An: Spa Refurbishment – The resort will close the Anantara Spa for a two-and-a-half-month renovation from September. Spa services are still available at temporary spa rooms until mid October.
