Flooding in Central Vietnam (Hue & Hoi An)
The river level in Hoi An is rising, causing flooding on several main streets within the Old Town and on access roads to some riverside hotels. We are in contact with our guests to update them on the current situation and provide alternatives. In cases where bookings are affected, our travel consultants will be in touch.
The Yen Tu – Vinh Nghiem – Con Son, Kiep Bac Complex of Monuments and Landscapes was inscribed as a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage sites recently. Spanning mountains, plains and river valleys, the complex includes 12 sites with temples, pagodas, shrines and archaeological remains linked to Dai Viet history and culture. It is the birthplace of Truc Lam Zen Buddhism, founded in the 13th century under the Tran dynasty, which deeply influenced Vietnamese spiritual life. Yen Tu is the most visited by international visitors in these areas, at the Legacy Yen Thu MGallery.
The debut of the MICHELIN Key Hotels selection recently unveiled its first-ever global hotel ranking, which is considered the hotel equivalent of the MICHELIN Star for gastronomy. Vietnam made an impressive entry, with 13 hotels and resorts receiving the coveted distinctions of one, two or three Keys. Sustainable gifts from EXO Vietnam for children in typhoon flood-affected mountain areas.
In the first week of October, TAGOM organized a Mid-Autumn Festival for the children of Lũng Cà School in Thái Nguyên province, who have been severely impacted by the floods caused by Typhoons BUALOI and MATMO. In addition to recycled material, lanterns and gifts from TAGOM, EXO Vietnam donated 160 refillable bottles to inspire the younger generation to reduce, reuse and recycle single-use plastics while raising awareness about protecting our environment from climate change.
