Cuc Phuong and Ninh Binh Discovery (4 Days / 3 Nights)

Leave the hustle and bustle of Hanoi behind and make for Cuc Phuong, Vietnam’s first national park. Established by Ho Chi Minh in 1962, this park houses a brilliant array of both plant and animal species. Also housing a Primate Rescue Centre and Turtle Conservation Centre, outdoor and wildlife-lovers alike will be charmed by Cuc Phuong. For the adventurers at heart, there is an option for both trekking and cycling around Cuc Phuong and its Yen Quang Lake before heading onwards to explore 200-230 million year old dinosaur fossils. Bringing a glimpse of history back into the itinerary, a visit to Hoa Lu, Vietnam’s first capital city, offers the ruins of the ancient citadel, where 10th century emperors once ruled the country. Continue onwards to experience what Halong Bay would feel like if it were on land, with the brilliant karst formations of Ninh Binh. Wrap up the experience with a visit to Van Long, the largest wetland reserve in Vietnam, before heading back to the capital city in the evening.
