We wish to inform you of an immediate change to the border crossing between Chiang Khong (Thailand) and Huay Xai (Laos) due to a new road bridge.
Although the visa process remains unchanged, the location of these offices and transport method has altered so all clients must now use a shuttle bus, 30 Thai Baht pp (cash), to make the border crossing.
Exotissimo is in the process of contacting all Agents with future clients travelling to advise further detailed information on any additional costs and how the guides will be facilitating the border transition.
