Destination News
New airport in Phnom Penh:
The opening date of the new airport is on 9 September 2025. The airport code is KTI.
At the moment, there has been no update from the airline company. The situation is being monitored closely, and a follow-up will be provided as soon as more information becomes available.
Team insights: This month, the team welcomed “Trash is Nice” to the office, a unique and impactful organization in Phnom Penh that tackles plastic pollution by transforming waste into valuable and beautiful objects.
The team learned about the plastic lifecycle and their recycling process. EXO is now collaborating with Trash is Nice to recycle plastic waste and give it a new life !
Reminder, Eliminating single-use plastic bottles:
Plastic water bottles are no longer provided to guests on tour. Guides will remind travellers to bring reusable bottles and point them to convenient refill stations throughout their journey. With Cambodia’s well-established infrastructure providing easy access to clean drinking water, sustainability can be prioritised without impacting guests’ comfort. Please ensure this message is communicated clearly, so guests are well-prepared for their travels.
