Itinerary

📍 Siem Reap – Phnom Kulen (41Km): 55 mins

This morning’s tour begins at 08:00, picked up by your local guide from your hotel to Kulen mountain. 

After arrival, visit the Poeng Ta Kho (cliff), Wat Preah Ang Thom, 1000 river linga. 
Then you will be transferred to your cozy homestay nestled amidst the beauty of Phnom Kulen. Upon arrival, a warm welcome awaits you from a friendly local family. Relax in your comfortable homestay and have a delicious lunch. This is a fantastic opportunity to connect with the family, ask questions, and gain a deeper understanding of Cambodian life and culture.

In the afternoon, embark on a leisurely walk through the village, soaking in the local atmosphere and vibrant scenery. Then, take part in trekking to reach the Kulen waterfall.
Upon reaching the Kulen Waterfall, prepare to be mesmerized by its cascading beauty. Depending on the water flow during your visit, you might even have the chance to take a refreshing dip beneath the cool waters – a perfect way to rejuvenate after your trek!

Notes: 
Trekking distance is 3km, the path is easy and we recommend wearing comfortable shoes (depending on the season the path is slippery).

📍 Phnom Kulen – Siem Reap(41Km): 55 mins

This morning's tour begins at 08:00, visiting the unknown area of Phnom Kulen with a local ranger by motorbike. Explore Damrei Krab, Poeng Tbal, the Ancient Kiln, and Elephant Pond Srah Damrei to see the impressive ancient stone statues. Prepare to be amazed by the life-size Elephant Statue, which represents the mountain’s guardian, and the smaller statues of lions, a cow and a frog. Seeing these ancient carvings in the middle of the jungle is a truly unique experience and a poignant reminder of the strength of the early Khmer Empire. More stone carvings lie just around the corner at Damrei Khrap.

Back to your homestay to refresh yourself and have lunch at the homestay.
Then it’s time to say goodbye to the family. 

Notes: 
For the motorbike experience it is necessary to sign a waiver form. We recommend wearing long trousers and using insect repellent for this pioneering but rewarding experience.
