Rainforest World Music Festival returns to Kuching from 20–22 June 2025!
Set in the lush Sarawak rainforest at the foot of Mount Santubong, this iconic 3-day event brings together global artists, cultural showcases, workshops and vibrant food stalls, making it one of Southeast Asia’s most unique music festivals.
Due to high demand during the festival period, significant traffic congestion and limited accommodation availability are expected. We strongly advise agents to plan and secure bookings early, as room inventory will be extremely limited during this time.
Hotel Updates, closures
& maintenances notices
To ensure a seamless experience for clients, please take note of the following temporary closures and renovation schedules:
Peak Season Reminder: Sabah Lodge Availability (2025–2026)
As we plan ahead for 2026, reminder that Borneo’s most in-demand jungle lodges in Sabah are filling up rapidly—particularly for July to September 2025, where many are already at or near full capacity.
Due to limited room inventory and consistently high demand, it is strongly recommended to confirm bookings at least 12 months in advance. For greater availability, consider travelling during the shoulder seasons (May–June or October–November) when the experience remains equally enriching.
Note: Borneo Rainforest Lodge will be closed from 9th to 16th February 2026.
Seven Terraces, Penang – Temporary Closure of Hotel Restaurant for Renovation
Please be advised that the restaurant at Seven Terraces, Penang, will be closed from 19–23 May 2025 for renovation work to enhance the future dining experience. During this time, breakfast and dining services will be unavailable at the hotel.
Guests may opt for breakfast at Mews Café, just a 5-minute walk away and part of the George Town Heritage Hotels group. The hotel team will also assist with nearby dining recommendations.
Four Seasons Resort Langkawi – Ongoing Enhancement Works (May-October 2025)
From 1 May to 31 October 2025, major enhancement works will be carried out at Four Seasons Resort Langkawi, including the conversion of One-Bedroom Beach Villas into Two-Bedroom Beach Villas. These works involve heavy machinery and take place daily from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
The Adult Quiet Pool will be unavailable during this period. However, guests can enjoy the Family Pool and a tranquil adults-only alternative at Bungalow 1, designed for quiet relaxation.
📌 All works are confined to specific zones, with buffer units and guest accommodations assigned to unaffected areas. The resort assures that guests will not experience visual, noise, or dust disturbances in guest-accessible spaces.
Please plan ahead for clients visiting during these dates. Let us know if you need assistance with alternative arrangements.
Holiday Schedule
On the following dates, the team will be celebrating local festive occasions. While general response times may be slightly delayed, the Customer Service and Operations teams remain available 24/7 to assist with any urgent matters.
