And now a little history. Wat Phou will provide that, along with an impressive ruined sceneray. This is an Angkorian temple, built sometime in the 11^th century. Spend the afternoon visiting local Lao villages, riding an elephant through beautiful jungles, and enjoying the diverse wildlife of Southern Laos.

Continue exploring the 4000 Island archipelago. Rent out a bike and bask in this soothing atmosphere. Who’d ever thought simple living like this actually exists? If you want to find that needle in the haystack, keep an eye out for the Irrawaddy Dolphin, a rare specimen indeed. However, they are known to pop out of the Mekong waters once in a while. Another activity you can do under this laid back air is – nothing. We won’t blame you if you choose this option. It is quite understandable. Just relax……..
