EXO Thailand, in collaboration with the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), recently hosted a five-day luxury familiarisation trip for top travel partners from the German-speaking market.
The journey, spanning Bangkok, Ayutthaya and Khao Yai, was carefully curated to reveal Thailand’s rich cultural heritage, natural beauty and community-based tourism initiatives.
EXO Travel’s Pantanida Jantsakool Pitz, General Manager for German Market, joined the group.
Highlights included a visit to the Art of the Kingdom Museum in Ayutthaya, where intricate Thai craftsmanship—such as the model of the Sri Suphannahongse Royal Barge—offered insight into Thailand’s artistic legacy.
In Khao Yai National Park, the group experienced the country’s dedication to conservation, witnessing a herd of wild elephants at dusk. This encounter underscored Thailand’s commitment to protecting its wildlife and was a highlight for many participants.
The trip concluded with a visit to Poomjai Garden in Bangkok, where the group met with a local family and saw firsthand the positive impacts of community-based tourism.
This journey was supported by Capella Bangkok and Intercontinental Khao Yai, two leading luxury hotels who hosted the group with exceptional hospitality.
