The wine growing boom the region has just experienced is a phenomenon in itself. The grapes are usually grown between the 30^th and 50^th latitudes in the Northern and Southern Hemispheres. Southeast Asia is definetly a peculiar choice to grow the wine grapes because the tropical climate is considered unsuitable for cultivating the fruit. Let’s take a look at some of the region’s prime growing areas. 

Khao Yai, Thailand’s first named national park is more than perfect for wine grape growing. Its 2000 meter above sea level position, pleasently cool weather and soil are the right ingredients for it.
