We all know the beauty of Bali. You’d immediately conjure up images of bright blue oceans and desirable beaches. You know, paradise images. Others may think of the unique temples that dot the island. Others think of the colorful tribes and people that call Bali home. Images of green rice fields and verdant jungles also come to mind. And imagine hopping on one of those all terrain vehicles and exploring the Island of the Gods for yourself? Pick your toy, a motorized quad bike or open-air buggy and zip through the island’s interior!

Now, before we head on out, let’s be prepared for the adventure ahead. First, for comfort’s sake, we recommend wearing shorts and sport shoes, hat and sunscreen. It will be hot out there, and the drive will demand a fair amount of energy from you. Preparation never hurts! Secondly, drivers under 16 are not allowed to man these vehicles alone, however younger participants (5 years old and up) can join the tour as a co-pilot.

All this green and lush scenery can mean one thing; your adventure will start in Ubud. And the drive to the beginning of the adventure is no dull endeavor either. Feel free to pick up your camera and capture Bali’s irresistible outdoor scenery. In no time you’ll be at your starting point, where a friendly staff member will greet you, treat you to a nice refreshing drink and brief you on your vehicle, safety precautions and give you an introduction to the course. And before hitting the trails, familiarize yourself with the machine a little bit. Head over to the practice course and fine tune your driving skills on the tracks and training circuit. Remember, you can choose from either the 4-wheel drive All Terrain Quad Bike Vehicle or an open air off-road buggy. Yes, it’s a tough one but you’ll have to make the decision here. Both are excellent choices.

Then it’s time to head off on your adventure! During the two hour excursion you will pass through rice fields, cross those green and lush jungles and drive through Balinese villages, with opportunities to interact with them. Feel free to stop at anytime during the journey to take pictures, to soak in the environment or to take a quick breather. You’ll also enjoy a relaxing break where you’ll sip local Balinese Java coffee at a local resident.

After the coffee break, the tour continues through different landscapes – be prepared to see some breathtaking scenery!  This includes rivers, hills, plains, farms, forests, and many more! At the end of the Quad and Buggy Adventure, a delicious buffet lunch will be served.
