Stop as often as you like to snap that perfect shot or interact with the hilltribes. End the day by watching the sun set over the horizon. Rafters will zip down the Pai River along class 3-4 rapids and will spend the night in a bamboo hut in the jungle. Hikers will take a light trek to limestone caves and a rest at a village homestay. Those who chose the rafting option will continue rafting downstream to the Khong River. The trekkers will hike to the various hilltribe villages. Both sets of adventurers will end up in Mae Hong Son. And guess what, you are just steps away from the Burmese border. Get acquainted with this small town and continue your adventure by exploring its immediate surroundings on the back of an elephant and by longtail boat. Head back to town and then back to Chiang Mai for the conclusion of your adventure.
