Old Bangkok Street Food Walking Tour (Half Day)

Few cities in the world can compete with Bangkok when it comes to street food. The Thai capital is, quite simply, in a class of its own for banqueting al fresco on a sidewalk. All around the city, vendors fry, steam, stew and grill their wares for the delectation of an appreciative clientele. Some areas of Bangkok are, however, more atmospheric than others and for a really authentic taste of the city it pays to make for its older enclaves. This delicious journey takes guests into the thick of the action in the historic old town. Starting at Bangkok City Hall, guests will wind their way through narrow streets, stopping off at Wat Suthat, one of the oldest Buddhist temples in the city. After consuming some spiritual sustenance, it is time to eat. Fuelling up on kafae boran (old style Thai coffee), guests will sample a host of snacks and bites including khanom thua paep (mung bean rice crepe) and gui chaii (a kind of dumpling stuffed with vegetables).
