EXO Myanmar has partnered with GraceWorks, a nonprofit Australian organization dedicated to supporting neglected youth using the revenue of an exciting cooking experience, set in the wonderful city of Yangon.
The trip is led by GraceWorks’ students who are learning language, business and social skills through a cultural exchange with foreign visitors. Yangon Cooking Class begins with a guided tour of Hledan Market to buy assorted vegetables, meat and spices.
Afterwards, travel to GraceWork’s center for a cooking class taught by the students. Finally, after all the hard work, sit down with the trainees for a wonderful Myanmar meal.
“It’s one of the most rewarding experiences I’ve had,” said Moet Moet Zaw, Assistant Product Manager and EXO Foundation Coordinator. “The trainees all have incredible stories about where they came from and where they want to go.”
