Bali’s status as Indonesia’s most alluring draw is largely founded upon the appeal of its fabled beaches and established tourist sites. However, there are numerous other aspects to the island that most visitors barely touch upon. A region that remains off the beaten path is the east coast of the island – a gorgeous area where luminous rice paddies rub shoulders with water palaces, pristine black sand beaches, volcanoes and traditional villages.
On this active journey, guests will take to two wheels to explore some of highlights of East Bali. The ride kicks off in the town of Ubud, known for its cultural attractions and stunning scenery. From there, the journey heads north via Mount Batur and Mount Agung before hitting the coast and proceeding to the picturesque seaside town of Amed. Riding back down the coast, guests will pass beautiful beaches and some of Bali’s most memorable cultural highlights including the water palace of Tirta Gangga.
