Beyond Borneo’s Jungles

There is so much to discover on this vast and beautiful island

For most people, if you mention the name ‘Borneo’, the first things that come to mind are rainforests and exotic creatures. While, in fairness, there is truth to this depiction -Borneo  does have these things aplenty- there is much more to it than just that.

In fact, with a land area nearly equivalent to France and Germany combined, it’s the third largest island on the planet. Within its extensive shores are an abundance of fascinating history, diverse cultures, distinct coastlines, stunning landscapes and much more.

For those only acquainted with the natural side of Borneo, here are other aspects of the vast and beautiful island to keep in mind when considering a trip to Malaysia.
