Towering over its surroundings and presenting a network of caves and marble crafts depicting mystical creatures and images of Buddha; there certainly isn’t a more appropriate name to this natiral/cultural phenomenon than Marble Mountains. Consisting of five limestone and marble formations, you can very well conquer these natural karsts and reward yourself with awesome views of the surrounding area.

The five formations are named after the five elements, Kim (metal), Thuy (water), Moc (wood), Hoa (fire) and Tho (earth). Each of them features entrances that lead to pretty cool tunnel networks. Choose your destiny.

Along the way, you’ll also pass pagodas that date back to the 17^th century. There are also caves, one of which is Van Thong. Inside the cavern is an ancient stele and a large Buddha image. Behind the statue is a narrow pathway, called Road to Heaven that leads up to the peak of Thuy Mountain. This is where you will need to push yourself a little bit because waiting for you is rock climb, which you will need to do in order to move up. And once you do, voila, magnificent views! Savor it. Take a picture and capture the moment and you personal triumph. After absorbing the view, you can head down and visit numerous pagodas, with some hosting fine Buddha statues and other carvings.
