- Important! Upcoming Public Holidays – October is a festive month in Korea, with several public holidays to take note of. On 1 October, the country celebrates Armed Forces Day, a special day to honor the military. Later, Korea observes National Foundation Day (3 October) and Hangeul Day (9 October), celebrating the creation of the Korean alphabet. Our offices will be closed on those days, but will reply to requests when back at our desks.
- Foliage season – Korea’s foliage season typically peaks from mid-October to early November, when the landscapes transform into brilliant shades of red, orange, and gold. Popular spots like Nami Island, Seoraksan National Park, and Bulguksa Temple provide the perfect backdrop for enjoying autumn’s breathtaking beauty during this period.
