What better way to explore Thailand’s pristine jungles than by actually imitating one of its residents? Exotsisimo is proud to present two Flight of the Gibbon day trip tours to you. These are exciting zip-line adventures where you will swing from tree to tree above the jungle floor, just like an actual gibbon.

A. One is near Bangkok, one and a half hour drive southwest from Bangkok on the edge of Chompoo Wildlife Sanctuary and the other is in Mae Kampong village near Chiang Mai.
Q. What are some of the activities in the itinerary?
A. Of course, there is more to these day trips than just zipping through the treetop. At Chompoo Wildlife Sanctuary, we will immediately strap you onto the zip-line and send you on your way! There are 24 platforms and the experience lasts about three hours. There are safety guides stationed at each platform, whose job is to ensure that you have a secure and enjoyable journey. After that, you will return to ground for an authentic Thai meal and enjoy a light trek through one of the most scenic spots in the sanctuary.
At Mae Kampong Village, we will kick off the tour with a visit to a local market to select fresh ingredients for your lunch. Following that, a guided tour takes your through the community forests, tea plantations, coffee fields and finally to a beautiful waterfall. Then, make yourself at home and observe your host family’s lunch preparations and enjoy their fine home cooking. After your meal, we will send you on your way to your zip-line adventure!
Q. So, what exactly is Flight of the Gibbon?
A. The zip-line is made up of pulley suspended on a cable and mounted on an incline. You will hold on to a freely moving pulley and gravity will transport you from the top to the bottom of the inclined cable. You will be attached to the cable by wearing a harness which connects you to the trolley. For additional safety measures, you will be wearing a helmet at all times.
