Bring cold water along wherever you go. It always helps to hydrate your children. Don’t forget to drink lots of fluids yourself too! Water, juices and soads are sold everywhere, so there is no excuse! You can also purchase cold towels. These are available at many convenience stores and some mom & pop establishments. A hat and some shades may help make your child look cool amidst the warmness.

And speaking of outdoor activities, you children will surely love the beaches, oceans and seaside resorts over here (except in landlocked Laos, but rivers and waterfalls are practically everywhere there). Many hotels and resorts offer nice swimming pools, televisions with cable channels and a fully stocked mini bar. And why not hop on the back of an elephant and explore the surrounding area?
