The Resort’s restaurants offer a variety of European and Asian flavours able to satisfy anyone’s taste-buds.

Eco-luxury amid the lush jungle

Japamala Resort is an eco-luxe rustic boutique hotel nestled amid the lush jungle. The property took nearly a decade to build due to efforts to maintain the surrounding natural environment and use recyclable natural materials.

The 16 private villas each boast an individual design and are furnished with air-conditioning, rain showers and private verandah decks. The more premium units are larger and come with private plunge pools.

Facilities at the resort include Tamarind Restaurant, Madni-Mandi Bar, two swimming pools along the beachfront or hillside and a spa that features massage treatments in a cave or forest.

One & Only Desaru Coast is nestled on the south-eastern shoreline of peninsular Malaysia, on 128 acres of white sands and surrounded by  jungle and sea.

Inspired by the beauty of Malaysia’s enchanting southeast, the resorts’ 44 sleek suites are at once both modern and traditional with clean lines, neutral tones and natural building materials. The suites’ layout is inspired by traditional Malaysian kampung (“village”) dwellings, with bathroom and bedroom connected by a terrace. Though these suites are decidedly more luxurious thanks to their own private pools.

Wellness programs, recreational activities, Spa treatment and kids-only areas are set to offer remarkable memories.

Destination update

Seasonal reminders:

High season is nearly here and Malaysia, once again, is proving to be a popular destination for travellers! We wish to remind you that certain accommodations and destinations may experience limited availability and suggest booking early whenever possible. For pending files, we suggest verifying current availability with our reservation teams and remain flexible for adjusting or reorganising the itinerary accordingly.

Revised passengers service charges:

The Malaysian Aviation Commission (MAVCOM) has announced revisions to the passenger service charges (PSC) commencing 1 June 2024.  The notable changes are the introduction of a new PSC, ranging from 7-42 Malaysian Ringgit  (1.5-9 USD) for guests transferring through the airports and a reduction in the PSC for long-haul international flights. The PSCs will be included in ticket prices at the time of purchase. For more details, please visit the MAVCOM official website here.

KL car-free mornings:

Kuala Lumpur has launched a green initiative designed to promote healthy lifestyle among city residents. Every Sunday from 7-9 AM, certain roads in the city are blocked to motorised traffic to allow residents to walk, cycle, roller skate, etc. As a result, guests staying in certain hotels may be required to walk a couple blocks to reach their transfer vehicle. We are adjusting touring times whenever possible to avoid any inconvenience and communicating with guests if additional walking or alternate plans are required.
