Itinerary
📍 Cycling: 5-6 hours Difficulty: Moderate
Start the day with a transfer from Chiang Mai to Doi Inthanon National Park, Thailand's tallest mountain, for an exhilarating day of adventure. Upon arrival, hop on a bike and begin cycling through lush trails that pass tranquil forests and traditional Karen villages. Around midday, pause for a traditional picnic lunch wrapped in banana leaves amidst the scenic forest setting.
In the afternoon, visit the iconic Mea Ya Waterfall, one of the most picturesque attractions in the area. Take some time to relax and soak in the serene atmosphere before continuing the ride to Wat Muang Klang Temple, a culturally significant site. End the day with a transfer to Ban Mea Aeb, a Karen hill tribe village, where you’ll enjoy dinner and stay overnight in a conservation homestay.

Midway through the trek, arrive at a tranquil river and waterfall where you’ll enjoy lunch by the water. Take this opportunity to relax or swim in the cool, refreshing stream.
After lunch, continue trekking to Ban Phamon, a Karen village known for its rich traditions. Participate in a coffee roasting workshop, where you’ll learn to roast beans in a clay pot and create your own batch to take home. Dinner will be followed by a traditional music performance, giving you a glimpse into the local culture. Retire for the night at a comfortable eco-lodge.

After breakfast, prepare for a more challenging trek deeper into the jungle. The trail takes you through dense forests, offering scenic views and opportunities to spot unique flora and fauna. Stop for a jungle-style lunch along the way, surrounded by the tranquility of nature.
The afternoon trek leads you to a rustic jungle hut, your accommodation for the night. Dinner will be served in this serene setting, where you’ll be fully immersed in the natural beauty of the wilderness.

Fuel up with breakfast before a short 4WD transfer to the Pha Ngam Base Camp. From here, embark on a steep and challenging trek to the summit of Pha Ngam, located 2,230 meters above sea level. Along the way, enjoy the spectacular views that stretch across northern Thailand's rugged landscapes.
At the summit, take a break for lunch while admiring the breathtaking panoramic views. Afterward, begin your descent along a scenic trail that winds through terraced fields and lush forests. Conclude the day with a relaxing evening at your accommodation and a delicious dinner.

On the final day, enjoy breakfast before setting out on a 10-kilometer off-road cycling trail to Ban Mea Sapok, a serene Karen village. Here, enjoy a leisurely lunch before heading to the bamboo rafting port. Drift peacefully down a calm river on a bamboo raft for 40 minutes, surrounded by lush greenery and the sounds of nature.
After rafting, freshen up and prepare for your transfer back to Chiang Mai. Arrive safely in the city, concluding your adventure-filled journey.
