Vietnam Product Update: October 2023

All the latest news from Vietnam

Autumn is in full swing here in Asia and the busy season is picking up. We bid farewell to the rainy season in the south of Vietnam, welcome rains to the central region and brace for cooler temperatures in the north heralding one of the most beautiful periods of the year.

Our latest updates this month include a new experience at a beautiful garden home in Hue meeting royal descendants of the Nguyen Dynasty plus a new street food tour of Hanoi’s French Quarter that explores the area’s rich history and culture through off the beaten track residential areas.

Also this month, members of our product team- Trang, Linh and Maeve-  have been out on visits to Ninh Binh and Hue, with notable mention for Nham Village Resort and Ancient Hue Garden Houses.

New Experiences

  • Experience a unique cultural exchange at a beautiful home in Hue
  • Meet royal descendants of the Nguyen Dynasty
  • Enjoy a short boat cruise on the Perfume River
  • Explore Hanoi’s French Quarter and learn about the area’s rich history and culture
  • Taste typical Hanoi street snacks and noodles at popular food stalls
  • Walk through off the beaten track residential areas.

New hotels

Ancient Hue Garden Houses

Linh from the Vietnam product team recently inspected Ancient Hue Garden Houses.  ‘A great choice for cultured guests or honeymooners’,  this unique five-villa property combines the charm of traditional Vietnamese architecture with modern comforts. Each of the nine guest rooms has its own character and design that reflects Hue culture.

Ninh Binh: Nham Village Resort

Maeve and Trang from the product team recently inspected Nham Village Resort Tam Coc in Ninh Binh Province. The 13-bungalow property offers an ‘intimate and cosy stay with charming design and gorgeous views’. With a small garden area, a petite lobby and modest swimming pool, the hotel feels more intimate and is a good option if Tam Coc Garden is fully booked.
