So much to see, so much to do, where to go, what to do? If you are in Bali and have asked yourself theses questions, well, you are not alone.

So much to see, so much to do, where to go, what to do? If you are in Bali and have asked yourself theses questions, well, you are not alone. Our Trekking and Seaside Explorer aims to bring you some of the islands highlights in one day of touring. Discover forests, rice terraces temple, villages and beaches in a magnificent and truly fascinating day.

Your trekking exploration will all take place in the eastern regency of Karangasem. Lots of interesting sites are to be had here and you will get to see most of it on foot. The trek also allows you to interact and be a part of the environment and local communities. As you head to Sidemen, the path naturally weaves its way through Sibetan Village as well as Kastala Village.

Next up is a 2 hour downhill stroll through some of the country’s finest emerald rice fields. Those rice terraces you saw in pictures earlier, yes they are real and not Photoshopped.

Ever wonder how the first Balinese people were like? You’ll get a chance to experience the Bali Aga (the first of the island’s inhabitants before the arrival of the Javanese) at the traditional village of Tenganan. Marvel at the village’s traditional architecture and observe the ancient tradition of basket weaving and other interesting handicraft skills.

Next stop, Candidasa, a seaside town that sits on the edge of a lagoon. This is one of Bali’s quieter beach locations and a superb place to rest those legs and just relax. Trust us; this is a laid back and very soothing area of Bali.

We’ll also throw in one more stop on the way back to your hotel. Kusumba is a coastal fishing village with a colorful array of fishing boats and is home to several small salt-making huts.
