There certainly is no place like the Gili Islands. Sometimes known as the Gilis, these are a beautiful set of tropical islands, perfect for kicking back those legs and just plain relaxing. The great thing about the Gilis is that there are no cars or motor vehicles running around disturbing the peace. That’s right. You either walk, cycle or ride horse carriages to your destinations. The islands aren’t all that big, so motor vehicles are not even necessary.

Our Gili Trawangan tour takes you to the Gili’s largest island. Estimates have the population here at about 800! But before you head out there, why not view the islands from a hilltop at Malimbu Hill first? This viewpoint gives you the most enchanting view of the turquoise blue waters and the islands that dot the waters. The hilltop station is also home to monkeys, seen swinging by from tree to tree.

After seeing the island from up there, we will then take you on your way to Gili Trawangan! The rest of the day is up to you to spend as you wish. We suggest swimming or snorkeling in the clear waters and amongst the multitude of colorful fish and sea turtles. If you want to take a short tour of the island, hop on the horse carriage and enjoy. Here’s a fun fact. It has been said that Gili Trawangan is the world’s smallest island with an Irish pub.
