EXO Foundation is a non-profit organisation actively supporting a wide range of grassroots programmes and sustainability initiatives. In this blog, we spotlight one of our projects: Share the Wonder.
Share the Wonder is founded on the belief that travel can be a positive force in youth development.
The non-profit organisation arranges fun, educational day trips for underprivileged children in Southeast Asia. Their mission is to give these children a memorable day out and time away from their daily routine, using travel to shape young people’s lives in a meaningful way.
Each trip is carefully designed to foster a greater sense of community and respect for the environment, as well as provide opportunities for participants to expand their horizons and be inspired by the people and places they visit.

To accomplish their goal, Share the Wonder partners with local NGOs, social enterprises and private-sector responsible travel organisations. Together they work to create a travel experience that not only benefits the participants but also has a positive ripple effect on the people and places visited.
EXO Foundation, a non-profit organisation that receives funding and backing from EXO Travel, is a key supporter of Share the Wonder. We are proud to sponsor their work and many of their excursions in Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos and Myanmar.

An example of Share the Wonder’s activities in 2023 was a day out with Girl Determined in Yangon, Myanmar. Girl Determined works with at-risk adolescent girls to build the skills and confidence needed to advocate for their rights and future.
61 girls from the organisation joined the excursion to Kokkoyo Organic, a social enterprise on the outskirts of the city focusing on sustainable, organic farming practices.
The participants enjoyed a hands-on farm experience, learning about sustainable agriculture and the role it plays in conserving the environment, followed by lunch and a discussion about the importance of waste management.

The EXO Foundation is proud to support the ongoing efforts of Share the Wonder. If you would like to contribute, a $25 USD donation sponsors one child to join a day trip. 100% of the donation received goes to Share the Wonder and it’s activities- all administrative costs are covered by EXO Foundation and Share the Wonder.
