Classic Egypt
& Red Sea Escape

10 Days / 9 Nights

A well-balanced combination of Egypt’s classic highlights and a relaxing beach stay in Hurghada, ideal for summer travel or for those wishing to unwind after their journey. The programme includes the country’s essential sights, a 4-day Nile cruise from Aswan to Luxor and concludes with a 3-night stay on the Red Sea coast.

Hurghada
Beach Escape

4 Days / 3 Nights

We have created a standalone beach break in Hurghada on the Red Sea, making it easy to combine with any Egypt itinerary. It can be added after a Nile cruise or cultural journey, with access from Luxor by a 4-hour road transfer or a short flight, and from Aswan via a domestic flight through Cairo.

Highlights of Fayoum Oasis

Full Day

Fayoum offers a unique blend of history, nature and traditional Egyptian life. Guests can explore ancient archeological sites, lakes, waterfalls and protected areas such as Wadi El Rayan and Wadi Al Hitan, making it ideal for travellers seeking a balance of relaxation and soft adventure.

West Bank Heritage Cycling

Half Day

Visitors can pass by iconic sites such as the Valley of the Kings, the Temple of Hatshepsut, and scattered tombs and fields that make the area feel like a living museum.

These tours are suitable for most ages and fitness levels, and can be enjoyed year-round. However, the best time to ride is during the cooler months or early morning hours, especially in summer, when temperatures can become intense.

Hotel

Sonesta St. George

Nile Cruise

Sonesta St. George I is one of our top-selling 5-star Nile cruises and a long-standing favourite among travellers. With just 57 cabins, it offers a more intimate atmosphere than many larger vessels. We particularly like its classic character, elegant French-inspired décor and reputation for consistently attentive service. It is an excellent choice for travellers seeking a traditional Nile cruise experience with a refined and timeless feel.

Sonesta St. George

Luxor

Sonesta St. George Hotel Luxor is a reliable Nile-side hotel with a convenient location on the Corniche, close to Luxor’s main attractions, restaurants and shops. We like it for its comfortable rooms, river views and easy access to the city. It is a good choice for first-time visitors and couples, and a suitable alternative while Winter Palace Luxor and Pavillon Winter Luxor are under renovation.

Egypt Visa on Arrival system:

Starting in August, Cairo International Airport will begin introducing a new electronic Visa on Arrival system using QR codes, replacing the traditional paper visa sticker. Eligible travellers will be able to apply and pay online in advance, via a mobile app or through self-service kiosks upon arrival. The new system is expected to reduce queues, minimise cash transactions and streamline the arrival process.

Staff inspection trip:

Led by our General Manager, members of our Inbound, MICE, and Contracting teams recently participated in a productive hotel inspection tour. The visit provided valuable insights into a wide range of properties and allowed the team to assess the latest facilities, services and product offerings available in the market. The inspection included iconic hotels such as Four Seasons, Steigenberger and Hilton, as well as further strengthened our team’s product knowledge and reinforced our commitment to delivering the most suitable accommodation options and exceptional experiences for our clients.

Mandarin Oriental transitions and renovations in Aswan and Luxor:

Effective 1 May 2026, Sofitel Legend Old Cataract Aswan, Winter Palace Luxor and Pavillon Winter Luxor ceased operations under Accor management and transitioned to Mandarin Oriental Hotels. As part of this change, the properties are undergoing major renovation and restoration programmes designed to enhance facilities and elevate the guest experience while preserving their historic character and heritage. During this period, Winter Palace and Pavillon Winter Luxor are closed, while several facilities at the Old Cataract Aswan will be temporarily unavailable.

Hot air balloon trips in Luxor:

Operations are temporarily suspended during the summer season to allow for scheduled maintenance and staff training programmes. Services are expected to resume at the beginning of September.

Visa free entry into Luxor and Aswan:

As part of ongoing efforts to facilitate and encourage tourism, the Egyptian authorities have resumed their previously implemented policy of exempting international visitors arriving at Luxor and Aswan airports on EgyptAir flights from purchasing an entry visa stamp during the summer season. This exemption is applicable from May through October 2026.
