Cambodia Product & Destination Update

Catch up on the latest news from EXO Cambodia!

Chum Reap Suor,

We hope you are enjoying our new product updates format! Please don’t hesitate to reach out and share your feedback with us.

As we enter our low season, this is actually the busiest time of year for our Product team. While we are currently reviewing all of our 2027 tariffs, our Inbound and Operations teams are also staying highly active by receiving training and preparing for upcoming inspection trips.

This month, we are pleased to announce two new products in Phnom Penh. Moving beyond classic touring, we are now offering workshop activities that support the local community and strengthen our commitment to sustainability.

In the hotel section, we present the stunning new spa extension at Song Saa Private Island.

Happy reading!

New: Natural Dyes
Workshop

Half Day

Experience the rhythm of slow fashion and the beauty of botanical colours in this immersive half-day workshop. Discover the ancient art of natural dyeing at Goel Community, transforming organic materials into lasting pigments to create a personal collection of hand-dyed textiles.

Why we like it: Moving beyond classic touring in Phnom Penh, this is a wonderful opportunity to experience something unique while supporting the local community.

Best suited for: Anyone who is interested in textile dyeing with natural pigments and wants to bring home a unique, meaningful souvenir.

New: Trash to Treasure Workshop in Phnom Penh

Half Day

This tour offers a deep dive into responsible plastic consumption and its local impact. Discover how plastic waste is collected and sorted, and witness the fascinating process of upcycling as discarded materials are transformed into beautiful, functional products.

Why we like it: It’s an eye-opening and meaningful experience that goes beyond traditional sightseeing. We love seeing ‘trash’ turned into treasure through creative upcycling, and it gives travellers practical knowledge to reduce their footprint long after their trip ends.

Best suited for: Eco-conscious travellers, families with curious children and anyone looking to give back to the destination they are visiting.
