EXO Team Insight

Several of our team members just wrapped up an inspection trip in Lombok to refresh our existing offerings and uncover exciting new gems for your travellers. The trip was highly rewarding, revealing a range of sustainable and authentic experiences, from visiting the hidden traditional Gumantar Sasak Village and learning about pearl cultivation at a Lombok pearl farm, to enjoying scenic walks in Tetebatu and exploring the historic Bonjeruk village. The team also explored secluded islands in southern Lombok, offering pristine marine life and rare encounters with blacktip reef sharks away from the crowds.

Another team embarked on a trip across Gili Trawangan, Gili Meno and Lombok and visited a range of accommodations, from comfortable to luxury properties, closely reviewing safety procedures, sustainability efforts, cleanliness and maintenance standards. The goal was to provide guidance for improvement while identifying partners who demonstrated a true commitment and capacity to grow. Ultimately, the trip aimed to build stronger partnerships rooted in trust, accountability and a shared vision for better hospitality.
