Reminder for Lao: Digital Immigration Registration
The Laos government is starting a Digital Immigration Registration system nationwide roll-out expected on 1st January 2026 at Luang Prabang, Vientiane, Pakse airports and the Lao-Thai Friendship Bridge. Please include registration links in client documents and reference our blog for full details here.
Key points for travellers:
- Arrival & departure: Complete registration within three-days prior to arrival & departure to get a QR code. Show QR code at immigration on arrival.
- Exemptions: Thai Border Pass holders.
Important: EXO cannot submit forms for VIP Fast Track clients, travellers must register themselves.
