Chum Reap Suor,
We are happy to enter into high season again! Our team is very excited and are looking forward to welcoming your guests.
We were pleased to host two recent FAM-Trips always discovering new insights to share from this beautiful destination. The first was a worldwide FAM-Trip combining Laos and Cambodia, where seven agents explored the key cities of Luang Prabang, Vientiane, Phnom Penh, the Islands and Siem Reap. The second was a French FAM Trip, during which ten agents embarked on an eight-day escape across Cambodia, gaining a full comprehension of the destination.
I truly enjoyed spending time with each agent, sharing knowledge and providing insights on selling Cambodia as a standalone destination.
This month, I would like to highlight our best-selling products

It is time to enjoy the most extravagant event of the Cambodian calendar: Bon Om Tuk, the Cambodian water festival, which occurs over a three-day period during a full autumn moon.
The festival marks the changing flow of the Tonle Sap River and is seen as a Thanksgiving to the Mekong River for providing the country with fertile land and an abundance of fish. What is remarkable about this phenomenon is that the Tonle Sap River flows upstream during the rainy season and then changes direction as the rains cease and the swollen Tonle Sap Lake empties back into the Mekong River, leaving behind vast quantities of fish.
The local people from all over the country flock to the banks of the Tonle Sap and Mekong Rivers in Phnom Penh and the Siem Reap River in Siem Reap city to watch brightly-colored boats battle it out for top paddling honors. These boat races date back to ancient times, marking the strength of the powerful Khmer maritime forces. In the evening, brightly decorated floats cruise along the river, complementing nightly fireworks displays.
