What is Virtuoso Travel Week?
Virtuoso Travel Week brings together thousands of leading luxury travel professionals and providers from more than 100 countries. It offers an unparalleled opportunity to connect, learn and build business through one-on-one appointments, professional development sessions and both formal and informal networking.
This year, Amanda, Kate, and Lucas represented EXO Travel in Las Vegas. The week began on Sunday with the Opening General Session and Welcome Reception, before moving into four full days of networking sessions. Each morning and afternoon was filled with tightly scheduled 10-minute meetings with Virtuoso travel advisors, while Kate and Lucas managed tables and Amanda moved between them to provide support. In the afternoons, longer 20-minute self-scheduled meetings gave the team additional chances to connect with advisors, hotels, tourism boards and Virtuoso colleagues. Amanda also attended the Virtuoso-sponsored “New to the Network” event on behalf of EXO Korea. Altogether, the team completed close to 200 meetings across the week.
Beyond the business sessions, Virtuoso hosted a series of standout social events including the Journey Through Paradise evening on Tuesday and the glamorous Virtuoso Awards Gala on Thursday. EXO also staged its own Agent Appreciation Dinner at Yellowtail in the Bellagio, while team members attended both the Minor Hotels event and Gifted Travel Network’s Celestial Soirée.
Insights from meetings
Feedback on EXO’s products and service was overwhelmingly positive, with strong recognition of the brand across the Virtuoso community. Advisors ranged from long-standing partners to those new to Virtuoso or the industry, as well as some who work solely with competitors.
Japan remained a hot topic, with many advisors noting the difficulty in selling the destination due to capacity and turnaround challenges. While EXO promotes all destinations equally, these conversations often evolved in line with advisors’ immediate questions. The team also took the opportunity to spotlight EXO Morocco and highlight the company’s expanding footprint across Asia.
Common advisor questions centred on:
EXO’s booking minimums
Whether hotels can be booked independently
Details of processes and turnaround times
The possibility of working with the same contact across multiple countries
Exclusive products, experiences or insider access unique to EXO
Looking Ahead: Virtuoso Symposium 2026
The 2026 Virtuoso Symposium will take place in Seoul, South Korea, from April 15–19. The event is expected to welcome around 350–400 attendees, hosted at the Conrad Seoul. Alongside the main programme, pre- and post-event tours and curated “Design Your Day” activities will showcase the destination in depth, with themes ranging from K-beauty and markets to wellness and spa experiences.
EXO Travel looks forward to playing a role in this global gathering, which will shine a spotlight on South Korea as an exciting and fast-evolving luxury destination. With Hamish confirmed to attend, the Symposium will be an excellent platform for both EXO and Korea on the world stage.
Other Virtuoso News
EXO Travel Malaysia will be featured in the September 2025 issue of Virtuoso Magazine in an article spotlighting Malaysia—thanks to the EXO Malaysia team for their support.
Virtuoso also released its 2025 Global Trend Report, which painted a generally optimistic picture for luxury travel worldwide. The main concern flagged by tourism boards and suppliers remains forward bookings, although the outlook outside the USA inbound market remains strong.
