Arrive in Chiang Mai and be greeted by an EXO Travel guide. You will be transferred by a private vehicle from Chiang Mai Airport and check in at the luxury 137 Pillars House Chiang Mai.
 

Optional activity: Relax with a Thai massage performed by women prisoners at the Women’s Correctional Institution through the Vocational Training Center of Chiang Mai. This massage activity aims to support the careers of all women prisoners. (Note: No advance bookings; walk-ins only.)

You will be picked up at 08:30. Uncover the secrets behind famous Thai dishes at Grandma’s Home Cooking School. Travel south of the city center to a traditional sala (open-air) house to meet a local chef. After a brief introduction to the day’s activities, head out to a nearby fresh market to collect your ingredients.
The chef will introduce the ingredients, exotic herbs and spices, and their uses, and explain Thailand’s food culture.
Armed with your new knowledge of Thai cuisine and its ingredients, start cooking! Chop vegetables, create spicy sauces, and fry up sizzling plates. Throughout the course, the chef will share personal stories and offer tips and hints for preparing these dishes in your own kitchen.
When everything is ready, sit down and enjoy the delicious fresh dishes. Savour the delicate flavors of home-cooked Thai cuisine and enjoy the results of the day’s efforts. Return to the hotel with a full belly and a better understanding of Chiang Mai’s foodie culture.
In the late afternoon, step into one of the city’s most revered pagodas, Wat Suan Dok. Witness local devotees deep in prayer or paying homage at the mausoleum where the ashes of the former Royal Family are interred. Learn about the beliefs and traditions of Thailand’s Buddhists. Continue on the spiritual trail, leaving the city center and taking a winding drive into the hills. Climb the staircase of Wat Phra That Doi Suthep, admiring the intricate naga carvings along the way. Upon reaching the top, explore the 14th-century pagoda and learn about its origins. Wander around the towering gilded stupa and take a moment to enjoy the views of Chiang Mai in the distance.
Before the sun sets, visit one of Doi Suthep’s monks and receive a blessing for good health and good fortune. Then witness the magical evening chanting of the monks, a serene way to end the day’s spiritual tour.
Return to the hotel.

Take away breakfast from the hotel.
This full-day elephant experience begins at 08:30. Be picked up from the hotel and transferred to Elephant Discovery Camp, located in a natural area on a hill in Mae Wang District. Enjoy a fun short bamboo raft ride en route to the camp.
Upon arrival, meet an elephant mahout, be introduced to the elephants, and learn about their stories and daily routines. Interact and play with the elephants under the mahouts’ supervision and form a bond with them. Walk alongside these gentle giants, watch them play in the mud pond, and learn how to communicate with them. Discover how to prepare nutritional food and desserts for the elephants using various natural ingredients.
Have fun bathing and soaking with the elephants in a large pond. Enjoy a picnic lunch box from the hotel.
Return to the hotel.
In the evening, be picked up from the hotel by electric tuk tuk and take a tour around the glittering town of Chiang Mai, stopping at some local temples at night. You will be dropped off at Waroros Market to browse various kinds of street food. Then, walk across a small footbridge to the other side of the Ping River, where dinner will be served at Sai Ping Bar and Restaurant.
After dinner, hop on the e-tuk tuk again to a rooftop bar with an amazing view of glittering Chiang Mai and the Doi Suthep Mountains. Enjoy your favorite drink.
You have the option to stay at the bar as long as you like on your last night; the EXO guide will provide instructions on how to return to the hotel. Alternatively, you can ride back to the hotel with your guide on the tuk tuk.
