Arrive at Daeheungsa Temple, nestled in the serene foothills of Duryunsan Mountain, for a memorable one-night stay.
Arrive at Daeheungsa Temple in Haenam at 15:00 to complete check-in and change into traditional templestay uniforms.
Attend a temple orientation to learn monastic temple rules, basic etiquette, and cultural background.
Savour a vegan temple dinner at 17:00, experiencing Gongyang (mindful monastic dining).
Optionally join resident monks for the evening Yebul chanting ceremony.
Participate in a hands-on Lotus Lantern Making session and emotional reflection activity designed to release emotional burdens and cultivate inner tranquillity.

Return to the temple for a quiet Tea Conversation with a Buddhist Monk at 10:00, gaining gentle insights into monastic daily life and Buddhist philosophy.
Prepare for check-out, room tidying, and reflection at 11:00.
Conclude the programme with a final monastic lunch and closing ceremony at 11:30 before departure.

- This tour operates primarily on a join-in basis; private tours can be arranged upon request at an additional cost.
- Strict temple rules apply: alcohol, smoking, pets, and loud noise are strictly prohibited on temple grounds.
- The itinerary and outdoor trekking routes are subject to flexible changes based on weather conditions.
- Simple translation (Korean/English) is provided during experiential activities.
- Accommodation is based on traditional ondol-style rooms (sleeping on floor futons). Standard booking is on a shared-room basis (up to 4 participants per room). Single room occupancy incurs an additional charge.
- Each room is equipped with a private shower, toilet, air conditioning, and bedding (mat, blanket, pillow).
- Participants must bring personal toiletries, towels, comfortable walking shoes, a water container, and personal medication.
- Travellers are encouraged to bring a refillable water container to minimise plastic waste.
