Depart from Tokyo to the Mt. Fuji Five Lakes area. Meet with an English speaking guide and begin the ascent. Break after a few hours to eat dinner and rest before continuing the hike at night. Reach the summit before dawn to catch an unforgettable sunrise.
Itinerary
Begin the day by meeting up with the English-speaking guides, who will assist with the ascent to the summit.
Travelling from central Tokyo to the Fuji Five Lakes area by private shuttle bus. Arrive at the Subashiri 5th Station and begin the climb through the Subashiri trail for a more local and less busy experience.
After climbing up to 3,400 meters, breaking for dinner and resting for several hours in a mountain hut.
The facilities here are dorm style, basic but clean.

Before dawn, begin the final climb under the cover of darkness. If the skies are clear, look up for an instant to marvel at the stars twinkling in the inky, black sky. Arrive at the summit just before sunrise, in time to enjoy one of the most astonishing and breathtaking views in Japan.
After a quick breakfast, enjoy a walk around Mt Fuji’s crater before heading back down, taking in the amazing views of the surrounding area.
Descend back to the Subashiri 5th Station, where the bus will be waiting to head back to Tokyo.
