  • Flores is still a remote destination therefore infrastructure in the island are not really developed yet: one has to be prepared for some long drive and some basic accommodation especially in places like Bajawa and  Ruteng where only standard hotels are available (equivalent to 1*). Although, this will offer a great opportunity to meet with local and experience the traditional way of life of an authentic ethnic village the comfort at the village is very basic with no private bathroom, no hot water and a night spend in some traditional ethnic houses (we recommend participants to bring a bed sheet or sleeping bag as well as their own mosquito net). Be prepared for good trekking shoes - An Anti-Malaria treatment is necessary for this trip as well as a good health condition.
  • This trip is designed for people willing to experience some remote area of Indonesia and with a sense of adventure and ready to accept basic comfort.
