And you might have guessed it by now, Khone Phapeng Falls is a great place to relax and unwind. Surrounding the waterfall is the ever so famous green wilderness as well as lakes which lead to the pool and cataract. Good spot for a picnic lunch? You bet! If you don’t have any food with you feel free to pick some up from the vendors and food stalls nearby. In addition, handicraft artisans have set up shops around the area, promoting traditional Lao products to the masses.
