Learn more about Hanoi culture this day with a visit to sites and destinations many fail to experience. Get to know the art side of the capital and actually meet the artisans and hand crafters at the nearby villages. Head back to Hanoi for lunch and this afternoon, visit Dr Huong, a traditional medicine expert and practitioner. Then visit the traditional medicine street and browse the variety of herbs and spices on offer. You are free to spend this evening at leisure.

You’ll know you’re in for a rich and detailed excursion of Hanoi when it is on the fourth day that you are actually seeing the city itself.
