An early breakfast will be served while the boat cruises on the way to Can Tho. Here, disembark and travel by a small local boat to explore the Cai Rang floating market. The waterway becomes a maze of boats packed with different produce depending on the season - mango, bananas, papaya, pineapple, and even floating coffee sellers and pho vendors. Then, transfer by a short drive to Victoria Can Tho Hotel, the riverside accommodation for an overnight stay.
After taking some time to refresh and relax in the heat of the day, this afternoon head out to discover another side of Can Tho. Depart from the hotel at approximately 2pm on a traditional boat with the local guide and bicycles on-board. Next start cycling through the lush countryside on village paths, rough trails and dikes along the rice fields. See the rustic charm and simplicity of the farmers’ daily lives and experience first-hand the friendliness of the locals in an area away from the city and where tourists rarely visit. Afterwards return to the boat and relax as the boat journeys back to the Victoria, arriving back at around 17:30 - 18:00. Note that the cycling is on a join-in basis and is leisurely on flat terrain and is graded easy. Distance is approximately 8 kilometres, although it can usually be adjusted to longer duration on request.
The ret of the afternoon and evening is at leisure to explore or take advantage of the hotel’s pool or recommended spa. Overnight at Victoria Can Tho.
