After breakfast at the hotel, check out and drive toward Sam Roi Yot National Park. Meaning “Mountain of Three Hundred Peaks,” Sam Roi Yot was Thailand’s first coastal national park and covers an expansive area of wetlands, limestone mountains, and beaches.
Continue to Bang Pu, a thriving fishing village, for a glimpse into the lives of local fishermen. Then board a long-tail boat and head out to sea. Cruise away from the shoreline and enjoy the fabulous views of the ocean and coast. Note: The boat trip may be cancelled if sea conditions are unfavorable.
After a 10–15 minute ride, the boat will dock at a beautiful stretch of beach. Walk to the nearby entrance of Phraya Nakhon Cave, where a longer 430-metre trek awaits. Although called a “cave,” Phraya Nakhon is actually a sunlit cavern formed by two sinkholes. Travel deeper into the cavern, enjoying the surreal landscapes before reaching its center. Be amazed by this enormous limestone cave, where a surprising sight awaits to wow you. (Note: The recommended time to visit is before 11:00.)
Return to the pier for a delicious lunch. Afterward, drive back to Bangkok, arriving in the evening.
