This morning, be picked up from hotels in Phuket, Khao Lak, Krabi, or Surat Thani for the transfer to Khao Sok, the region of Thailand’s rainforest. Head toward Ratchaprapa Dam, as part of Khao Sok National Park. Embark on a scenic boat ride along Chiew-Larn Lake to the Greenery Panvaree.

Arrive at the Greenery Panvaree Floating Resort just in time for delicious lunch. Then spend the afternoon enjoying the heart of nature, swim, explore the surroundings by kayaking, or simply relax and bask in the atmosphere. 

Later in the day, enjoy the boat trip along the Little Halong Bay.

Overnight at The Greenery Panvaree Floating Resort, Khao Sok.

After breakfast at the hotel, the morning adventure begins with a trip to Prakarang coral cave, jungle trek to the emerald lagoon, then ride the bamboo boat to the cave, the stalagmites have a similar shape to coral. Look out for wildlife and rare plants in the rainforest.

Return to the floating resort for lunch.

After lunch, check out and embark on a long-tail boat back to the mainland of Khao Sok.

Upon arrival back at the pier, be picked up and transferred for a canoe ride down the Sok River. The journey starts a few kilometres upstream taking you past the towering cliffs of Khao Sok. Half way down the trip take a stop for swimming and a coffee break (depending on the season)! Then return to the canoe and continue paddling downstream.

On the way the expert guide will point out brightly coloured birds, and with some luck, spot monkeys, monitor lizards or even a snake or two resting high up in the tree canopies. The guides come from the local villages and speak minimal English but more than make up for that with their infectious enthusiasm for the natural environment and their desire to share their knowledge of the land with guests.
