You’ll spend a few days in paradise on this relaxing beach break. Spend some time in a beautiful natural Thai beachside paradise and take on some local activities at your leisure. Learn to cook one of the world’s best loved cuisines in a local Thai cooking class or spend the day learning about the art of Tie Dye and it’s benefits to the local communities. Alternatively soak up the seaside vibes and simply relax the stress of modern life away.
Itinerary
📍 Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport – Laem Ngob, Trad (approx. 300 km): approx. 4 hr
Depart from Bangkok (hotel or airport) to Trad by private air-conditioned transportation with your guide. At Laem Ngob Pier, connect with the join in speedboat transfer to Koh Mak.
Overnight on Koh Mak.
Inclusions:
Breakfast at the resort, and relax on the island, in a remote environment that nurtures indigenous feel in design. Optional tours are available and need to be pre-booked.
HALF DAY OPTIONAL TOURS
A) Nature Color Tie Dye basic (PVT)
You will be picked up and taken to Roja Studio to experience the natural color tie and dye technique using the cold method, which doesn't involve heat or chemicals. The colors used in the workshop are derived from nature, with the signature color being the light orange from Koh Mak's soil. Khun Roj, the owner, teaches and explains in a natural manner. You will feel the warm welcome from the local people, who will help explain and provide knowledge on how to make tie-dye fabrics and share the history of Koh Mak and Roja Studio. You'll also have the opportunity to take home your own handmade tie-dyed fabric. The workshop concludes with a happy return to your hotel.

D) Thai Cooking Class
You will be picked up from your hotel and taken to Smile Koh Mak Thai Cooking School, where you can learn how to create delicious traditional Thai dishes with Leng, a friendly and passionate instructor who has been running this cooking school for 9 years. Leng loves cooking and is eager to share her knowledge and experiences of these Thai traditional dishes with you.
During the class, you will have the opportunity to chat and learn about life on the islands, as well as the local spices and vegetables used in Thai cuisine.This cooking experience will leave you with new culinary skills and a deeper appreciation for Thai culture and cuisine.(L or D)
