A) Morning Street Food Walking Tour (PVT)

Today’s tour will begin at 07:00. Awake early to taste the best of what Krabi has to offer on this Krabi street food tour. Set off for a local morning market that is buzzing with shoppers coming to get the day’s freshest items. See stalls piled high with vegetables, tropical fruits, fish, and exotic herbs. Learn about how these items are grown and used in traditional Thai cuisine. Stop to sample some of the items on sale, from sweet juicy fruits to savoury morning snacks.

After this insightful market visit, continue to a popular local restaurant for breakfast. Dine on ‘dim sum’, a typical southern Thailand breakfast. Taste a variety of small bites such as ‘salapao’, a sweet round bun stuffed with sweet cream or chopped pork. Sip sweet Thai-style tea or coffee and chit-chat with the guide, learning more about Thai culinary culture.

With a full belly and better understanding of Thai cuisine, return to the hotel. (B)

B) Hong Lagoon Exploration by Long-Tail Boat

Be picked up at either 07:00 or 14:00. Escape from the crowds of Krabi and discover a tropical paradise in the Andaman Sea. Transfer to the Krabi pier and board a longtail boat for a trip to the Hong Islands. Part of the National Marine Park, the Hong Islands are home to some of Thailand’s most beautiful natural scenery.

Cross the Andaman Sea, enjoying the warm sea breeze and spectacular views. Arrive at the main Hong Island and spend time relaxing on beautiful, palm-fringed beaches and swimming in the turquoise waters. Then venture through a dramatic limestone cliff to discover the island’s emerald lagoon and admire its incredible natural colours.

Continue to other small islands in the area. Jump overboard to snorkel past shallow sea corals and colourful tropical fish. Walk along spectacular beaches uninhabited and untouched by the modern world. On one of these beautiful stretches of sand a picnic will be served- a memorable meal amid this tropical paradise.

Following lunch, it’s time to bid farewell to the pristine Hong Islands and travel back across the Andaman Sea to Krabi. (L or D)

FULL DAY OPTIONAL TOURS

A) PHI PHI ISLANDS TOUR BY SPEEDBOAT (SIC)

Be picked up at 09:00. After being picked up from the hotel to the pier, embark on the speedboat and head towards Phi Phi Island, the paradise of the Andaman Sea. Stop at Bamboo Island, one of the paradise on earth with its white sandy beach and corals. Stop at Phi Phi Don for lunch, and then continue to see the Monkey Beach, Phi Phi Ley Lagoon and pass by to see Viking Cave or the Swallow Bird Nest Cave, Lohsamah Bay and Maya Bay (a photo opportunity from distance), the location of the famous Hollywood film “The Beach”, featuring beautiful corals and marine life and unspoiled white sandy beach. This trip is for swimming and snorkeling. (L)

B) THE EMERALD POOL AND JUNGLE SPA EXPERIENCE

Be picked up at 07:00. Explore lush forests and inland attractions during this enticing Krabi day trip.

Set off early- around 7AM- to beat the crowds to Khao Nor Juji. This is one of Thailand’s last remaining rainforests and is teeming with birds and other wildlife. Take a 45-minute walk through the forest, enjoying the fresh air and sounds of birds chirping in the distance. The walk leads to Sra Morakot, a spectacular crystal-clear lagoon. Go for a swim in the refreshing lagoon and cool off after the morning’s trek.

Continue through the jungle to a collection of natural Jacuzzis. Hidden by thick tropical plants, the Jacuzzis offer privacy and tranquility. The waters here are believed to be curative, so choose a pond, take a dip and rejuvenate tired muscles. Then receive a head and shoulder massage at a nearby jungle pavilion, obtaining a deeper sense of relaxation. Afterwards snack on seasonal fruits and sip herbal teas.

Dry off and continue to a nearby restaurant. Sample delicious Thai cuisine at this popular local spot then resume the drive to the hotel. En route, stop at Tiger Cave Temple, one of Krabi’s iconic sites. Learn about the history of the temple and how it is used as a meditation centre. For the energetic, there is the option to climb 1,266 stairs to a spectacular viewpoint.

Return to the hotel late this afternoon, feeling relaxed and rejuvenated from this interactive Krabi day trip. (L)
