Today’s tour begins at 07:00. Awake early to experience the best of Krabi on this street food tour. Start at a local morning market buzzing with shoppers buying the day’s freshest items. See stalls piled high with vegetables, tropical fruits, fish, and exotic herbs, and learn how these ingredients are grown and used in traditional Thai cuisine. Stop to sample some of the offerings, from sweet, juicy fruits to savory morning snacks.

After this insightful market visit, continue to a popular local restaurant for breakfast. Enjoy ‘dim sum’, a typical southern Thai breakfast, featuring a variety of small bites such as ‘salapao’—sweet round buns stuffed with sweet cream or chopped pork. Sip sweet Thai-style tea or coffee while chatting with the guide and learning more about Thai culinary culture.

With a full belly and a deeper understanding of Thai cuisine, return to the hotel. (B)

B) Aonang Elephant Educational Experience

You will be picked up at 08:00 or 13:00 (depending on your hotel’s location) and driven for approximately 30 minutes to Ao Nang Elephant Sanctuary, one of Krabi’s responsible elephant camps. Upon arrival, you will be welcomed by a local tour guide who will briefly introduce you to the sanctuary. Meet your new “Dumbo” friends and interact with them in a fun and caring way. Learn how to make protein balls for the elephants and feed them with smiles. Take a walk with them to a mud pond set in a natural environment with mountain and jungle views. Watch them enjoy a mud spa or help scrub them during their pool bathing time.

The activities last approximately 3 hours. Afterwards, relax with some seasonal fruits, coffee, or tea, and bid farewell to the elephants.

A) PHI PHI ISLANDS TOUR BY SPEEDBOAT (SIC)

You will be picked up between 07:30 and 08:00. After being transferred from the hotel to the pier, embark on a speedboat and head toward Phi Phi Island, a paradise in the Andaman Sea. Stop at Bamboo Island, a slice of heaven with its white sandy beaches and coral reefs. Continue to Phi Phi Don for lunch, then explore Monkey Beach, Phi Phi Ley Lagoon, and pass by Viking Cave (also known as Swallow’s Nest Cave), Loh Samah Bay, and Maya Bay—a famous filming location for the Hollywood movie The Beach. Enjoy photo opportunities from a distance, taking in the beautiful corals, marine life, and pristine white sandy beaches. This trip includes opportunities for swimming and snorkeling. (L)

B) THE EMERALD POOL AND JUNGLE SPA EXPERIENCE

Set off early—around 07:00—to beat the crowds to Khao Nor Juji, one of Thailand’s last remaining rainforests, teeming with birds and other wildlife. Take a 45-minute walk through the forest, enjoying the fresh air and the sounds of birds chirping in the distance. The walk leads to Sra Morakot, a spectacular crystal-clear lagoon, where you can go for a swim to cool off after the morning trek.

Continue through the jungle to a collection of natural Jacuzzis. Hidden by thick tropical plants, the Jacuzzis offer privacy and tranquility. The waters here are believed to have curative properties, so choose a pond, take a dip, and rejuvenate tired muscles. Afterwards, enjoy a head and shoulder massage at a nearby jungle pavilion for a deeper sense of relaxation, followed by seasonal fruits and herbal tea.

Dry off and continue to a nearby restaurant to sample delicious Thai cuisine at this popular local spot. On the way back to the hotel, stop at Tiger Cave Temple, one of Krabi’s iconic sites. C) Hong Lagoon Exploration by Long-Tail Boat

You will be picked up at 07:00. Escape the crowds of Krabi and discover a tropical paradise in the Andaman Sea. Transfer to Krabi pier and board a longtail boat for a trip to the Hong Islands. Part of the National Marine Park, the Hong Islands are home to some of Thailand’s most stunning natural scenery.

Cross the Andaman Sea, enjoying the warm sea breeze and spectacular views. Arrive at the main Hong Island and spend time relaxing on beautiful, palm-fringed beaches and swimming in the turquoise waters. Then venture through a dramatic limestone cliff to discover the island’s emerald lagoon and admire its incredible natural colors.

Continue to other small islands in the area. Jump overboard to snorkel among shallow sea corals and colorful tropical fish. Walk along pristine, uninhabited beaches untouched by the modern world. On one of these beautiful stretches of sand, a picnic will be served—a memorable meal amid this tropical paradise.
