Family Adventure in Singapore

Today’s tour begins at 09:00. Be picked up by the guide and driver at the hotel and explore the city by driving round the Civic District, passing by the Padang, Cricket Club, old Parliament House, Supreme Court and City Hall while learning about its history. 

Next, stop at the Merlion Park and enjoy the impressive views of Marina Bay. Do not miss this picture-taking opportunity with The Merlion, a mythological creature that is part lion and part fish.

Then, visit Singapore’s historical Chinatown - a bustling mix of old and new, filled with traditional shops and local markets as well as new artisanal stores and cafes. Visit the Buddha Tooth Relic Temple and Museum and see the rich interior design and comprehensive exhibit on Buddhist art and history with stories of the religion spanning over hundreds of years. 

End the tour by at visiting the National Orchid Garden located within Singapore Botanic Gardens. Recently named one of the world’s heritage site by UNESCO, the National Orchid Garden boasts a sprawling display of 60,000 orchid plants. It is also home to Singapore’s National Flower, the Vanda Miss Joaquim. Entrance fees not included - additional costs apply.

This morning at 09:00, be picked up at the hotel with the guide and driver and embark on a journey of discovery at River Safari, Asia’s first and only river-themed wildlife park. Get to meet over 5,000 aquatic and terrestrial animals from 300 species.

Explore eight river habitats from the mighty Mississippi to the majestic Yangtze and experience rare encounters with river giants and mega fishes. Stroll through freshwater galleries and enter walk-through exhibits to learn about the fascinating flora and fauna of river habitats.

Catch giant pandas Kai Kai and Jia Jia at the 1,500 square-metre Giant Panda Forest, the largest panda exhibit in Southeast Asia. Travel down the Amazon River and be amazed by the world’s largest freshwater aquarium at the Amazon Flooded Forest.

13:00 Meet your driver at the designated Pick-up/Drop off Point in the multi-storey carpark located at Mandai Wildlife Reserve.

This late afternoon 16:00, be picked up at the hotel by the driver and guide to explore the attractive gardens of Singapore. 

Visit the Sands Sky Park, an awe-inspiring engineering wonder. This unique structural masterpiece, floats atop the three soaring Marina Bay Sands hotel towers, 200m in the sky!

Stretching longer than the Eiffel Tower laid down or four and a half A380 Jumbo jets, with an impressive 12,400 square metres of space, the Sands Sky Park offers unforgettable panorama views of the city’s impressive skyline. An absolute paradise on the sky! 

Then, explore Singapore’s latest National Garden - Gardens by the Bay. Visit the Flower Dome and Cloud Forest cooled conservatories. The Flower Dome is a cooled conservatory replicating the cool-dry climate of Mediterranean regions in South Africa, California, Spain and Italy with unique plants like the Baobab trees, the Madagascar Ghost Tree, and the 1000-year-old Olive tree. The Flower Field caters for a changing display of vibrant plants and blooms. Then, be awed by the world’s tallest indoor waterfall at 35-metre amidst the lush vegetation and tropical epiphytes of the Cloud Forest. 

Transferred to Singapore River for an evening spent along the vital waterway of Singapore. 

Cruise down the Singapore River in a traditional bumboat to see the legacy of Singapore's history. This is the best way to see the pivotal role the river played in Singapore's history as a port town. The cruise passes godowns and old shophouses, that now stands as a silent reminder of its humble past. Cruise past old colonial buildings contrasted with imposing modern skyscrapers. Guarding the river mouth see the majestic water-spouting Merlion - a mythological half-lion, half-fish creature a successful symbol of Singapore's tourism industry.
 
End the tour with a seafood dinner along the riverside. Savour an authentic dish of chili crab served with mantou (fried Chinese buns), a local favourite and a must-have in Singapore!

This afternoon at 14:00 be picked up at the hotel for a Sentosa Island discovery like no other. Enjoy a breathtaking ride on the iconic Singapore Cable Car from Keppel Bay to the island. 

Then proceed to the S.E.A Aquarium, the world's largest aquarium. Immerse in a magical marine world with more than 800 species of marine animals, the aquarium is home to majestic manta rays, enormous goliath grouper, Napoleon wrasse, and other gentle giants of the sea. Come face to face with over 200 sharks and uncover the centuries of myths about the sea predators. 

Next, enjoy the most thrilling and unique Singapore attraction the Skyline Luge. A gravity-fueled ride that provides riders full control over their descent on purpose-built tracks. Jump aboard the Skyride for a scenic adventure on a 4-seater chairlift that gives a bird's eye view of the Singapore skyline and the South China Sea while engrossed in the natural habitat of Sentosa Island. Look out for the cheeky cockatoos that often entertain guests.

Then head to the 4D Adventure Land! Go on in an immersive 4-D movie, Journey 2: The Mysterious Island, The 4-D Experience.  Hang on tight while riding on a virtual 4-D roller coaster on the Extreme Log Ride. Grab a motion-sensor pistol, aim and fire at Asia’s first 4-D Interactive Shoot-Out game happening at Desperados.

End the tour with Wings of Time - a multi-sensory extravaganza that tells an epic tale of courage, mystery and magic. The first of its kind, Wings of Time is the only permanent night show in the world set in the open sea. Set against a signature backdrop and a larger-than-life water screen, audiences can look forward to a contemporary storyline weaved together with an epic experiential fusion of the latest multimedia effects, including 3D projection mapping, state-of-the-art lasers, robotic water fountains and giant water jets, pyrotechnics. 

At around 20:30 be transferred back to the hotel in the city.
