Best of Singapore - 3 Days / 2 Nights

DAY 1 - Arrival - Singapore by Night MealsMEALS [D]

Arrive at Changi Airport, be greeted by the guide and transferred to the hotel of choice in Singapore.

Spend the rest of the morning and afternoon at leisure before discovering Singapore’s night scene.

At 18:30, embark on a journey through the rainforests of Asia where trees come into life after a monsoon rain. Watch the Supertrees come alive with original music compositions inspired by tropical rainforests - Garden Rhapsody's ‘Rainforest Orchestra Asia’.

Next, cruise down the Singapore River in an authentic bumboat ride to see the legacy of Singapore's history. This is the best way to see the pivotal role the river played in Singapore's history as a port town. The cruise passes godowns and old shophouses, that now stands as a silent reminder of its humble past. Cruise past old colonial buildings contrasted with imposing modern skyscrapers. Guarding the river mouth see the majestic water-spouting Merlion - a half-lion, half-fish creature a successful symbol of Singapore's tourism industry.

End the tour with a seafood dinner along the riverside. Savour an authentic dish of ‘chilli crab’ served with mantou (fried Chinese buns), a local favourite and a must-have in Singapore! ** Bumboat non-private basis **

At 22:30 be transferred back to the hotel.

Overnight in Singapore.

DAY 2 - Discover Singapore MealsMEALS [B|L]

Breakfast at the hotel before embarking on a full day discovery of Singapore city.

Depart the hotel at 09:00 to explore the city by driving round the Civic District, passing by the Padang, Cricket Club, historic Parliament House, Supreme Court and City Hall.

Stop at the Merlion Park and enjoy the impressive views of Marina Bay. Do not miss out this picture-taking opportunity with The Merlion, a mythological creature that is part lion and part fish.

Next, proceed to Singapore’s historic Chinatown - a bustling mix of old and new, filled with traditional shops and markets as well as trendy stores and cafes. Visit the iconic Buddha Tooth Relic Temple & Museum and be amazed by the temple’s richly designed interiors and comprehensive exhibits on Buddhist art and history dating back to over hundreds of years old.

Have lunch at a local Chinese restaurant. Savour an authentic dim sum Lunch, a style of Chinese cuisine prepared as small bite-sized portions of food served in small steamer baskets or on small plates with some other main dishes.

After lunch, visit Yong Gallery – where a master calligrapher will demonstrate the fine art of calligraphy. Watch while he transforms names or creative expressions into auspicious Chinese characters on a red fan. Take home the fan as a memorabilia of this unique experience.

Then, visit the Fountain of Wealth, located in the hub of one of Singapore’s largest shopping malls, the Suntec City. Suntec City was constructed in accordance to feng shui principles. Surrounding the Fountain of Wealth are five office blocks representing the fingers and thumb of a left hand emerging from the ground. The Fountain of Wealth symbolises the ring in the palm of the hand, guaranteeing the retention of wealth. In Chinese culture, water symbolises wealth and life and the inward movement of water signifies the preservation of wealth for Suntec City.

Be transferred back to the hotel at 17:00 and spend the rest of the evening and dinner at leisure.

Overnight in Singapore.
