FD Langkawi Forest Boat Trip (Private tour)

Be picked up at your hotel and take a 30-45 minutes shared transfer by air-conditioned vehicle to Kilim Jetty. (Note: exact time of pick up will vary depending on the location of the hotel)

On arrival at the jetty, cruise through the mangrove forest at Kilim Geoforest Park by boat and learn about the ecosystems that surround you. Spread over 100 sq km, Kilim Geoforest Park has a well-protected green mangrove forest. Admire the awe-inspiring view of limestone rock formations and sea stacks that rise dramatically from the ocean. This ancient coral thrust into the sky millions of years ago is home to a unique and ancient group of plants found nowhere else on earth.

Start the journey with a short boat ride to the darkened bat caves, seeped in fabled tales of mysteries and explore the Bat Cave by foot with a Specialised Nature guide. Cruise past an old Charcoal Factory and into the Andaman Sea for a beach stop, relaxation and swim time.

Stop at the floating restaurant for a locally sourced lunch. Take a short fish farm tour in a secluded cove surrounded by high vertical limestone and granite cliffs before taking a boat ride back to the jetty for the transfer back to the hotel in the mid-afternoon. (L)
